Review Happy Cat Sailors' Meeting
10th International HAPPY CAT Sailing Meeting on Lake Traunsee
From 22 to 24 August 2025, the HAPPY CAT community celebrated its 10th anniversary sailing meeting in Ebensee on Lake Traunsee.
130 participants with 64 catamarans from six nations presented an impressive sight on the water.
Ideal conditions
In ideal conditions with a wind force of around three, the sailors competed in two exciting mass start regattas.
The standard of the participants was remarkable - you could clearly see the practice of recent years. The top finishers in particular were involved in thrilling head-to-head races for first place.
The winners were crowned in six classes for the various HAPPY CAT models.
Outstanding atmosphere
The atmosphere was excellent - fuelled by the great sailing wind, the sun on Sunday and the relaxed atmosphere at the campsite right next to Ebensee Sailing Club.
Thanks to the excellent infrastructure, the participants were able to enjoy their shared hobby to the full for three days.
Inspired by the unique backdrop of Lake Traunsee and the successful anniversary meeting, the participants are already looking forward to the next reunion with great anticipation.
