heute war auch perfekter Wind, sicher Bft. 4 in der Bucht!

25,6 Km/h Spitze weit über 30KM und das nur sporadisch. Am Vormittag stand unsere Kenterübung am Plan, das ganze habe ich mir etwas leichter vorgestellt.

Fazit: 5m Kenterleine sind definitiv zu kurz, ich werde noch auf 8-9m aufrüsten mit einigen Schlaufen, Knoten sind zuwenig.
Ich habe im obersten Teil eine MTB Schlauch integriert, wie befürchtet ist das Volumen zu wenig, aber der Mast sinkt etwas langsamer, aber doch in ca. 15 sek. durch.
Das Mast hoch ziehen bis zur Wasseroberfläche war kein Problem, aber zum nachgreifen benötigt man Schlaufen und die Schlaufen gehen sich bei 5m nicht mehr aus! Ohne fremde Hilfe ist der Versuch gescheitert!

Also ist noch eine Übung in den nächsten Tagen geplant, aufgeben tut man einen Brief, das Persenning hat sich auch ausgezahlt, ich war lange am Überlegen, aber Taubenkacke am Trampolin ist auch nicht fein, auf der Plane ist es Wurscht, da unser Red Snake im Wasser bleibt ...

am Wochenende war es nun endlich soweit mit der Jungfernfahrt meines neuen Evolution. Es ist einfach unglaublich, wie sich die Eigenschaften verbessert haben. Ich bin nun sämtliche Typen der letzten 5 Jahre gefahren (den HCR hatte ich selbst 5 Jahre), aber der Evo ist faszinierend. Den größten Anteil dabei haben für mich die Rümpfe, das ist ein Gleiten über das Wasser selbst bei rauer Oberfläche und das Steuer, welches sich wie vom Servo verstärkt zwischen den Fingern bedienen lässt.

Ich habe sie nicht gemessen, doch die Geschwindigkeiten, die einstigen Höchstgeschwindigkeiten erreicht man jetzt schon bei guten 3 Bft.

Hat mich die Sicht- und erkennbare Entwicklung schon begeistert, war die Wirklichkeit jetzt die Krönung. Wirklich ein großes Kompliment für diese Arbeit! Das habe ich nicht erwartet und nicht gedacht, dass das überhaupt möglich ist.

I got HappyCat to sailing three times already. This is super fun. Get it running at 21-23 km/h, sure it can go faster. I need to get more familiar with it and more experience. Super easy to setup, though it takes some time to inflate the hulls even with electric pump..

The quality is excellent

Now planning for multidays trip to some canadian remote lakes.
